TO MEASURE ACCELERATION USING A LINEAR AIR TRACK

In an experiment to measure acceleration using a linear air track and two light gates the following results were obtained:

the time for the rider to pass through the first light gate

the time for the rider to pass through the second light gate

the length of the card attached to the rider

the distance between light gates .

Using the above results, calculate a value for the acceleration of the rider
